Jurgen specialises in tax structuring, trusts, liquidations, valuations and general business consultancy for corporate clients.

Jurgen originally trained as a lawyer in his native Germany until 1976 when he married a “good kiwi girl” and immigrated to New Zealand. After re-training as an accountant he spent 15 years as a Finance Director with a large corporate before setting up his own Chartered Accountancy practice in 1992.

His work is his passion, and he finds it particularly satisfying to help clients win when the odds are stacked against them.

Jurgen has three children and his outside interests include soccer, cars, motorbikes and skiing.

He has two degrees, is a full member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Certificate of Public Practice.
